Alright! Just done with the shopping and got some fresh tomatoes and pasta here, I decided to make a spaghetti bolognese. Why? Because I watched the Battle Trip Bologna episode on YouTube, FYI battle trip is a south korea TV show with traveling as their concept program. Anyway, I learned the Bologna city is the origin of bolognese pasta. Plus, the pasta looks incredibly delicious. No one use store bought tomato sauce in Italy. They just literally make the noodles and the sauce from scratch! So, I bought some fresh tomatoes and 1 package of store bought spaghetti (sorry, can’t make the noodles yet). I tried the recipe based on what I see. It is quite successful! So I try to share the recipe here.
- 2 cloves of white garlic
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 portion of pasta noodle
- 1 portion of beef / chicken
- 1 cup of cheese
- 1 tsp of salt & pepper
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
How to Cook
1. Prepare the ingredients
Before we start the cooking, we need to prepare the ingredients first, peel the garlics and wash them together with tomatoes. When everything is clean we are going to diced them. Slice the garlics and dice the tomatoes as small as you can.
2. Prepare to cook
Prepare a pot with a boiled water to cook the noodles. Add a little bit of oil to prevent the noodles sticking to each other and some salt for seasoning. Boil the noodles for around 10 minutes. If the noodles is cooked enough after 10 minutes please set it aside or put it in a bowl or plate.
Add some cooking oil to the pan and set it into medium heat. When the pan is heated add the garlics and beef. Fry it until the beef is cooked and fragnant. After that we are going to add some tomatoes. Mix them all together and mash the tomatoes while cooking, add some salt and pepper to season it.
When the tomatoes and the beef already cooked and have nice flavor now, we are going to add the noodles. Since the noodles already cooked before, we just need to make sure the beef, tomato garlic sauce, and the noodles are perfectly mix together in one pan. Once it is ready we serve it on a plate. Sprinkle it with some cheese and done!
Serve it with fruit and bread toast. I post a simple toast recipe before. Fruits, pasta, and toast are enough to fill my day for breakfast!
