Its been a while. I haven’t uploaded any new recipe since 2 years ago. However, since now everyone have plenty of time to due to Coronas virus, which mean it’s time for me to upload another recipe!
Today in Indonesia is Ramadhan time. Where everyone can only have breakfast on 3-4 am o’clock and dinner on 6pm. While the rest of the day we are fasting, no eat no lunch no drink. That’s why breakfast is special for us 😀
For today recipe we are going to make something simple and healthy. A Cheese French Toast !! Healthy, simple and everyone can make it at home!
- 2 Slice of breads
- 1 slice of cheese
- Tomato or chili sauce
- 1 egg
- A sandwich Maker.
Any sandwich maker is fine. But what I have in my house is the triangular shape as the picture above. Sorry if my equipment is not that clean.
How to make it :
1. Prepare the bread.
First, spread some sauce on the bread. The sauce can be anything that you like. Mine is tomato sauce that I usually use for spaghetti
2. Prepare the cheese & egg
Second, ingredient that everybody love, the cheese! Please don’t forget to put at least 1 slice of cheese to the bread that already has sauce on it. Also, put one raw egg inside it. I add a little salt and black pepper around the egg for seasoning and to make sure it doesn’t taste raw. Once all the ingredients are ready, put another layer bread on top and put it into the sandwich maker. Close the lid and turn on the machine. Wait for couple minutes and ready to serve!
