Beef steak for family dinner on weekend sounds perfect! This recipe can be easily made at home during weekend time. I prepare this beef steak for family dinner last time. Noone hate meat right? Especially children like me xD. Just a little tip for people who still want stay healthy. My mom choose meat without marblings or all red beef meat from supermarket in order to avoid the fat white things that stuck on meat. And i want to share the recipe for everyone to try at home. This recipe will make the meat full of flavours! I guarantee it *thumbs up*. Let’s try cooking!
1 Stalk of green onion
4 Clove of white garlic
3 Clove of red garlic
2 Red chili pepper
3 Green chili pepper
1/2 inch of ginger
1 lime leaf
1 tsp lemon juice
2 cups of water
How to make it :
1. Prepare the meat
Soak or coat the beef meat with lemon juice, one clove chopped white garlic, salt and pepper. Put it in refrigerator for 30 – 45 mnt. The lemon juice will help to make the meat tender and will absorb the spices flavour better during cooking process.
2. Prepare the ingredients
While waiting for the meat in refrigerator, lets prepare the ingredients. Mashed the rest of white garlic with food processor and slice the red garlic manually to avoid ambigous flavour comes out from the same ingredients. Or you can chop manually both of the garlics. Chop the onion, all chili peppers and cut into half the green onion.
3. Cooking the beef steak
Put some vegetable oil on frying pan or pot to stir fry the spices. Put all the garlics, chili peppers, ginger and lime leaf. Stir fry it until fragrant, put the meat and stir fry all of them for 10 mnt to make sure the oil with spicy ingredients seep into the meat. Pour 2 cups of water, salt, pepper and green onion to enhance the flavour. Close it with a lid, boil it in medium heat and let it dry. Last, put the onion and stir fry it with the meat together untill the onion turns transparant. And done!
The meat absolutely tender and full of deeeppp flavours!
